This week’s playlist was created by Sally, our Trainee Choral Leader. She says:
“I LOVE disco. Dancing is one of my favourite things to do and 70s disco always gets me up and bouncing about! It’s so joyous and expresses so many different emotions via such a groove. I love the inclusivity of disco and that it was a scene where anyone and everyone was welcome regardless of colour or sexuality. My birthday is in July and I had planned to host a 70s themed roller-disco party at the roller skate rink in Leith… it’s looking like this won’t be happening, but wherever I’ll be that day this playlist will be playing!”
You can listen to it on Spotify or you can view the full list below.
