Love Music Choirs present a summertime celebration of community and song! Over 400 Edinburgh singers come together on the Usher Hall stage to bring to life a rich, global mix of songs in their unique and joyful style. Visit Poland, Macedonia, Scotland and Nigeria with hits from Lewis Capaldi, Ray LaMontagne, The Beatles and Woody Guthrie. Join us for the perfect Monday pick me up.
The concert will last approximately 1 hour (no interval)

Scotland Sings events
Applying knowledge from specialist dementia singing settings to generalist singing groups
Venue: Online on Zoom. You can still register for access to the recording until 18th June.
Join us for an online conversation with dementia-inclusive singing specialists Magdalena Schamberger, Eyleen Braaten and Penny Stone to gain insights into working with singers who have a diagnosis of dementia. Hear expert knowledge about inclusive singing initiatives, groups and practices and discover how to apply their learnings and approaches to generalist choir and singing group settings such as community choirs.

Dates: Tuesday evenings, 18:00-19:00, on 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd September
Venue: Online on Zoom
A fantastic opportunity for song and choir leaders who want to start or develop music writing for singing groups and choirs by starting with the words. This participative course includes structured tuition, guidance and short writing tasks to inspire the creation of new text / lyrics. Led by renowned singing leader and songwriter Ali Burns and creative writing specialist Jessica Boatright.
