We are looking for a singing leader to co-lead our Junior Choir alongside Sally Jaquet.
We hope to engage an exceptional individual who wants to use and develop their skills as a music practitioner in the field of inclusive community-focused singing.
This person could be an established professional or they could be an emerging leader who might require some support and training as part of the role.
Love Music Junior Choir is a community of 8-12 year olds living right across Edinburgh with a diverse range of backgrounds and abilities. The choir is inclusive, open access and welcoming; we want our singers to feel valued, creatively enriched and happy. We invest time and care to ensure that our work is accessible and to support those with support needs, so that everyone can take part on an equal footing with their peers. We collaborate with the best musicians and work in the best environments because we believe that everyone deserves to experience the life enhancing benefits of taking part in inspirational music making. Taking part in choir increases participants’ wellbeing, confidence, and musical skills. Most importantly, our choir members have FUN!
