Kirsten grew up in Edinburgh playing in lots of orchestras and wind ensembles from a young age on violin and percussion. She went on to study music at Edinburgh University followed by a masters in Music in the Community and later, alongside work, an MBA at Strathclyde University. She is a producer and concert manager who has a passion for making the arts accessible to all through the delivery of inspirational and imaginative creative experiences. Kirsten has worked for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Live Music Now Scotland, Lammermuir Festival, Edinburgh International Festival, and the Cumnock Tryst Festival.
Kirsten also loves to crochet and knit, run and potter in the garden.
