Lyndsey Alexander, Choirs Producer

Lyndsey grew up in Aberdeen and has been involved with choirs and all things musical from a very young age, including learning to play viola, drums & ukulele, and taking to the stage with amateur dramatics. She studied English Literature at Edinburgh University where she continued to sing, and got her first taste of leading choirs with Edinburgh Revelation Rock-Gospel Choir.

Since university, Lyndsey’s career to date has spanned a wide variety of roles in the cultural, public and third sectors. She has worked within administration, project management, communications and events management in museums & galleries, community development, international development and the arts. Just before the pandemic, Lyndsey returned to her studies part-time completing a Masters in Strategic Comms and PR at Queen Margaret University alongside her work commitments. In 2022 she started as a choir leader for the Musselburgh chapter of Sing in the City choir, which she greatly enjoyed before taking a break for maternity leave in 2023.

Lyndsey started working with Love Music at the start of 2026 and is hugely excited to take on the role of Choirs Producer, bringing her professional and personal experience to bear.

When she’s not working, Lyndsey can be found playing with her young daughter and trying to find time for reading or swimming when she can!
